To prevent attacks from jealous dogs…
- give the dog a small amount of Benadryl (ask your vet for proper dosage instructions)and—as you would with a child—wait to have sex until the canine conks out. For added safety, and in case of regained consciousness, shut the dog out of any room you’re about to get jiggy in. As an alternative, some animal behaviorists have had success with Prozac, which boosts doggie self-esteem.
- shower the dog with affection, more than ever before. Ask a friend to babysit the dog when you go out on dates.
- This is hard, but it can save lives. Use a muzzle to keep your lover from saying anything that might offend the dog.
